What are the structural features and maintenance methods of XL-21 power distribution cabinet?

Structural features

The XL-21 low-voltage power distribution cabinet is primarily used for power distribution in industrial and mining enterprises using three-phase, three-wire, and three-phase, four-wire systems with AC frequencies up to 50 Hz and voltages up to 500 V, as well as for power lighting. It is an enclosed enclosure constructed from bent steel plates. The knife switch operating handle is located on the upper right front column, providing power switching. A voltmeter is installed on the distribution panel to indicate the busbar voltage. The front door exposes all internal components for easy inspection and maintenance. This distribution cabinet utilizes state-of-the-art components, resulting in a compact design, easy maintenance, and flexible wiring configurations. In addition to air circuit breakers and fuses for short-circuit protection, the cabinet also features contactors and thermal relays. The front door accommodates buttons and indicator lights.

Use and Maintenance

• After installation or overhaul, and before commissioning, the power distribution box must undergo the following inspections and tests (post-overhaul inspections and tests depend on the nature of the overhaul).

• Check that the electrical equipment and secondary wiring installed within the power distribution box conform to the drawing requirements.

• Check that the knife switches and circuit breakers used for operation are flexible and free of sticking.

• Check that the electrical equipment is in good contact and meets the intended operating requirements.

• Check that the power distribution box is free of foreign objects and that the screws securing the components are not loose.

Operating Environment

• Ambient temperature: -50°C to +40°C, with the average temperature over 24 hours not exceeding +36°C;

• Altitude: Not exceeding 2000m;

• Relative humidity: Not exceeding 50% at an ambient air humidity of +40°C;

                             Higher relative humidity is permitted at lower humidities (e.g., 90% at +20°C), and moderate condensation is permitted to account for temperature fluctuations.

• The device should be installed with an inclination of no more than 5° from the vertical. The device should be installed in a location free from severe vibration, impact, and corrosion.
